Seasons

The radiance of life springing everywhere
Is bidding farewell to Winter's chilled air,
Giving way to new color and fresh smells.
All Creation glistens with Springtime spells.

The clean fragrance of the newly mowed grass,
Tinkling of ice cubes in a tall tea glass,
A refreshing swim to lighten the heat,
Sounds of the warm night's choir of insect feet.

Golden orange, deep red, dots of brown and green,
Splashes of splendor all around are seen,
The magnificent hues of Autumn's dress,
The leaves blend their grand finale to bless.

The treasures of cold Winter's snowy coat,
Any human artist should well take note.
Crystal branches taking bleakness away,
Melt to give earth a drink another day.

The seasons of life come and swiftly go,
The gift of time is God's grace to bestow.
What is done for Him will bring rich reward.
May all your "seasons" be blessed by the LORD!
