Isaiah
26:3
"THOU
wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind
is
stayed on THEE: because he trusted in
THEE."
Friend,
do not be discouraged, or hopelessly
sigh;
No
cause to be downhearted~let me tell you why.
There
is a God Almighty, sovereign and supreme.
There's
nothing that troubles Him~He's always serene.
He's
so wise and loving~He even knows your name.
Though
life is ever changing~He remains the same.
He
knows your deepest longings, He'll calm all
your fears.
He'll
give sweet assurance, He'll
wipe away your tears.
When
trials come looming~to take away your peace,
Just
look to Him to see you through, and faith
increase.
Friend,
refuse to be defeated; rest
in God's grace.
He
promised to guide you, each
time you seek His face.
When
sickness weakens you and makes you feel so
low,
In
your frailty, He waits, His healing strength
to show.
When
fever rises and weariness takes control~
He
bids you rest awhile and soothes your heart
and soul!

Cool
Water On Weary Feet
Have tests and trials
caused your heart to grow cold?
Have you lost your grip
on a prize you tried to hold?
Is it hard to focus on
the task at hand?
Is the circumstance too
deep to understand?
Are you in despair over
what “might have been”?
Is “rock
bottom” the situation you’re in?
A broken heart, when
given to GOD, I’ve heard,
Is restored whole again,
when bathed in HIS word;
Refreshing as cool
water on weary feet
As a friend, when after
years apart, you meet,
Is the balm of all the
promises of GOD.
HE will not leave you
alone through life to plod
HE will faithfully guard
and guide each footfall
And provide courage to
overcome each pitfall.
HE will tenderly lift
you up to higher ground,
Where the light of HIS
presence shines on all around.
O’er shadowed by
HIS glory, all else fades from view.
Look! There by the cool
flowing stream…HE waits for you!
Sometimes, God in
His wondrous wisdom from above,
Allows a heartache
to remind me of His love.
It gets my
attention, my focus back on HIM.
When life clamors
loudly~His still soft voice grows dim.
So much to do, and
how quickly time flees away.
HE longs to help
me but did I ask HIM today?
It's so easy to
rush about plagued so with care.
Why is it hard to
remember, HE's always there...
Waiting and
longing for me to whisper HIS name?
HE's eager to give
power and strength to sustain.
If only I ask,
HE'll answer each prayer I lift,
And bless with HIS
presence~GREAT GIVER of the gift!

THAN CONQUERORS
M-ore than
a conqueror am I, in His will
O-beying
His Word, He'll all His plan fulfill
R-emembering
I am but clay in His hand
E-ven when
His pressing, I don't understand.
T-rials
designed to mold me and make me pure
H-is
purpose to make me more Christ-like is sure
A-llows
curves that best display His work of art
N-o
shadows cast, except from His loving heart.
C-onstant
in His efforts to produce the best
O-ffers
freely His serenity of rest
N-ever
further than a prayer from His pilgrim
Q-uick to
honor complete faith and trust in Him
U-pholds
me in the strength of His mighty power
E-ven when
in the midst of life's darkest hour.
R-ound
about His ministering angels wait
O-n every
side to protect from censured fate.
R-ighteous
in His sight, victory's joy on His face
S-ecurely
in His arms, a trophy of grace!
More of
CHRIST and less of me...
O GOD, hear
my earnest plea!
May I stop
thinking of my ill...
And focus
instead on THY will.
What is the
purpose of this test?...
To bring into
my life what’s best!
