One Sunday afternoon, after hearing GOD's word in Sunday School, I knelt at my bed and asked JESUS to save me as simply as I understood the message of salvation as a 10 year old.

Ephesians 2:8~"For by grace are ye saved

through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD."

I wish I could say I was consistent in my walk

with THE LORD, but sadly, I was very rebellious through

most of my teen years, causing much conflict in my home.

My family, Pastor, his wife, various Sunday School teachers

were faithful, consistent, and GODly influences and helped

to point me in the right direction.

When I left home to go to nursing school, GOD led me to a small Bible church, where HE finally got a grip on my heart. Under the ministry of another faithful Pastor/Teacher, I grew in grace and knowledge of CHRIST.

At that church, THE LORD also brought a GODly young man into my life, who became my life-long friend and husband.

Our home was blessed with two children and we have endeavored

to raise them in the "nurture and admonition of THE LORD."

STATEMENT Of FAITH

The Bible is the inspired WORD of GOD

II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

JESUS is the physical, eternal SON of the invisible GOD and is therefore, GOD incarnate.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the THE WORD,and THE WORD was with GOD, and THE WORD was GOD."

HE was born of a virgin (Mary), lived a sinless life, suffered and died on the cross in my place, was buried, rose again on the third day, was visible for forty days (teaching the disciples), and then ascended into Heaven where HE sits on the right hand of GOD interceding for me and whosoever shall call upon HIM.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of THE LORD, shall be saved."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD."

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD."

Romans 10:9&10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth THE LORD JESUS and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

John 3:16 "For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE."

There's so much more...this is only the beginning of new life in CHRIST! If you are with me this far, and have trusted CHRIST as your SAVIOUR, you can read HIS WORD for yourself, asking HIM to open your eyes and heart to see all HE has in store for you! The Gospel of John would be an excellent place to start.

Changeless GOD in HIS Heavenly stability~

HE knows best the changes that would be good for me.

Always striving to make me more like HIS dear Son.

Never gives up on the "project" HE has begun.

Graciously provides strength for each step HE has planned.

Even though there are things I just don't understand.

Stays close by my side, gently directing me on.

HIS love holds me steady till my fear is all gone.

Ever encouraging me upward to HIS higher ground.

Makes no mistakes, most trustworthy guide to be found.

All anxiety and care HE bids me confide.

Knows all my weakness, yet faithfully will abide.

Encourages me to simply trust and obey.

Supernal blessings can be gained no other way!
