A BLESSED
EASTER
A blessed
Easter came down from Heaven above
Bringing
down to man such a
wonder of GOD's love
look once
again at that Blessed Easter story~
ever
praising GOD and giving HIM the
glory,
showing
others HIS great love on this special
day,
sharing
how HE crushed
death in HIS victorious way,
ensuring
us, we too shall rise again with HIM,
delivering
us from the fierce bondage of sin
enriching
life with HIS care each day on earth
all HE gave
shows how
much each priceless
soul is worth
salvation's
Easter gift is just the wondrous
start
twelve
baskets full of blessings to content
each heart
endless
more are
promised from HIS
bounteous supply
remember
this Easter means HEAVEN by and by!

One
Sunday afternoon, in 1987, as I sat
reading
the church bulletin,
the
following poem became a song in my mind.
It
was written by a beloved Pastor~teacher, and
friend
who
had a profound impact upon our lives!
~Pastor
Clarence Snyder~
He
has gone home to be with his Lord
and
this poem is used by permission of his dear wife,
Nancy.

He Is Risen
Verse
1: "He is risen!"
How it thrills us,
we,
whose hearts assurance crave!
Christ
is risen! Christ is Victor~
Over
death and o'er the grave!
Chorus:
"He
is risen!" CHRIST IS RISEN!!
In
His love we rest secure:
Doubts
and fears are gone forever~
We
are His and Heav'n is sure!
Verse
2: "He is
risen!"~Glad the tidings,
Of
our Lord's triumphant love:
He
who conquered death by dying,
Lives
again~in Heav'n above!
Chorus
Above
Verse
3: Now,-"because He
lives"-beloved,
We
can say: "We, too, shall live!"
For
to those who fully trust Him,
Life
eternal He doth give!
Chorus
Above
~Pastor
Clarence R. Snyder~ ~April 1987~

As
you ponder the cross,
Consider
the great loss~
If
Jesus hadn't come
To
do all He has done.
May
your heart thrill anew~
He
did it just for you!

Jesus
Christ, THE perfect lamb~
Is
the wonderful "I AM"
Who
spoke to Moses of old
And
will come again, I'm told.
He
lived, died, now lives again,
Paid
sin's price for every man.
How
I am blessed in His love
Both
here and Heaven above!
