His Mercies

Death surrounded me and it was my last stand,
and sorrows abound did they grow!
I thought for sure it was the end 
and then a light It did show!!!
Jesus bent down and took my hand,
all hope He did bestow!!!
I pray to Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
that your mercies I never forget,
let me remember your past mercies,
and how you helped me to stand.
