Mark 13:21-23
"And then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ'; or, 'Behold, He is there'; do not believe him; [22] for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order, if possible, to lead the elect astray. [23] "But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.
2 Cor. 11:4
For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.
Galatians 1:6-8
I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; [7] which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you, and want to distort the gospel of Christ. Matthew 7:15-16
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. [16] "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?
1 Kings 22:21-22
"Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord and said, 'I will entice him.' [22] "And the Lord said to him, 'How?' And he said, 'I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, 'You are to entice him and also prevail. Go and do so.'
