To teach and promote the reality, liberty, unknown facts, and truth of America's founding principles, established by America's founding fathers, as well as the legal, social, and spiritual implications of the Revolutionary War Era as it relates to our modern day (and not vice-versa). An Accountable Founding-Father: "Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not [Ezekiel 12:2], the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it." --American Founding-Father Patrick Henry of Virginia. They Were Not Ashamed.... "The wise and great men of those days [America's Founding Fathers] were not ashamed publicly to confess the name of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!" "On behalf of the people, as their representatives and rulers, they acknowledged the sublime doctrine of His mediation!" ---Richard Henry Lee, grandson of Richard Henry Lee, DOI signer, Memoir of the Life of Richard Henry Lee and His Correspondence. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek" (Paul at Romans 1:16). The Common Cause -- Defending Liberty: "It is a common observation here that our cause is the cause of all mankind, and that we are fighting for their liberty in defending our own." -- American Founding-Father Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania. Then, They Came For Me.... "I will protect the German people," Adolph Hitler shouted, especially directing his statement toward the Rev. Martin Niemoller, the decorated World War I German submarine commander. "You take care of the church. You pastors should worry about getting people to heaven and leave this world to me!" The Rev. Martin Niemoller, a survivor of the German Dachau Concentration Camp, later stated: "In Germany, they first came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then, they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then, they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then, they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then, they came for me -- and by that time, no one was left to speak up" (p.23, September-October 2003, Celebrate Life magazine). If You Love Servitude....: "If you love wealth better than liberty and the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace...." -- American Founding-Father Sam Adams of Massachusetts. Take Right Ground [before it's too late]: "The church must take right ground in regards to politics....The time has come for Christians to vote for honest men, and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them....God will bless or curse this nation according to the course Christians take in politics" -- the Rev. Dr. Charles Finney (1792 - 1875), great evangelist of the Second Great Awakening. Neutrality...? "The hottest places in Hell are reserved for those who, in a time of moral crisis, maintain their neutrality" -- Dante Alighiere in The Divine Comedy. Isaac Potts Came Home {In More Ways Than One]: "Sarah, my dear! Sarah! All's well! All's well! George Washington will yet prevail!" "What's the matter, Isaac?" replied she; "thee seems moved." "Well, if I seem moved, 'tis no more than what I am. I have this day seen what I never expected. Thee knows that I aways thought the sword and the gospel utterly inconsistent; and that no man could be a soldier and a christian at the same time. But George Washington has this day convinced me of my mistake." Isaac, the Quaker, then related what he had seen [Washington praying at Valley Forge], and concluded with this prophetical remark: "If George Washington be not a man of God, I am greatly deceived -- and still more shall I be deceived if God do not, through him, work out a great salvation for America." My People Perish.... "It is the tragedy of the world that no one knows what he doesn't know -- and the less a man knows, the more sure he is that he knows everything" --- British author Arthur Cary (1888-1957). "If a union expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be" --- Tom Jefferson, principal author of the Declaration-of-Independence. A few years ago, a gentleman called into a talk show sponsored by National Public Radio (NPR), claiming that America has no Christian heritage. Dr. Ralph Reed, NPR guest, at first taken-aback by such shameful ignorance, said in response: "There is a mountain of evidence about America's Christian heritage, and, my Ph.D. is in American History." "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children" --- Hosea 4:6, NIV. "Richard Arthur" appears in his Revolutionary War rifleman uniform & "Mrs. Mary Ann Arthurs" appears in her Rev. War Era dress for the talks. Just How Important Is History...? ---“A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do. We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we came from or what we have been about" -- President Woodrow Wilson speaking at a rally in 1911 at Denver, CO. ---"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" --- George Santayana (1863 - 1952), an American philosopher, essayist, and poet; he taught philosophy at Harvard University for 23 years. ---How many "leaders" nowadays advocate repeating the failure of British leader Neville Chamberlain when he engaged in appeasement with Adolph Hitler? Vigilance Or Appeasement: "The heritage of freedom must be guarded as carefully in peace as it was in war. Faith, not suspicion, must be the key to our relationships. Sacrifice, not selfishness, must be the eternal price of liberty. Vigilance, not appeasement, is the byword of living freedoms." -- American General Omar N. Bradley, Armed Forces Day, 1950. Liberty Or Just The Selfism Of The Post-Modern Syndrome: In the beginning, Patrick Henry's powerful aphorism was "give me liberty or give me death." A few decades went by, and the maxim became simply "give me liberty." A few more decades went by, and the maxim simplistically devolved into "gimme, gimme, gimme." *Seminars, Presentations, Tutoring, Programs For:

You are deeply loved, fully pleasing, totally forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ Jesus." ______________________ ______________________ al office? "I don't want to claim that God is on our side," candidate John Kerry said in his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, Thursday evening, 29-July-2004. "John Kerry believes deeply in separation of church and state and does not accept edicts from any religious leaders," said Kelly Benander, a spokeswoman for the senator. "In order to ensure to citizens freedom of conscience, the church in the U.S.S.R. is separated from the State, and the school [is separated] from the church" (Article 124, Constitution of the United Soviet Socialist Republic, 1922 - 1991). If he does not accept "edicts" from religious leaders (technically, every Christian is a "minister"), then he can never represent a significant number of Americans. Doesn't the Declaration of Independence state that "all men are created equal," at least in a republican form of government? This candidate -- and US Senator -- has disenfranchised a significant number of American citizens. The Kerry-Edwards campaign evidently selected the slogan "Let America Be America Again," taken from poetry by the late Langston Hughes (1902-1967), the communist activist who once wrote the poem "Goodbye, Christ," about the Church yielding its authority to its Leninist destroyers. Years ago, the Rev. Matthias Burnet reminded the Connecticut legislature: "[T]he man who . . . is not actuated by the fear and awe of Him [God], has in many cases no bond or restraint upon his conduct.... Think not that men who acknowledge not the providence of God nor regard His laws will be uncorrupt in office.” "A patriot without religion [Christianity] in my estimation is as great a paradox as an honest Man without the fear of God....The Scriptures teach 'Righteousness exalteth a nation'" ---Mrs. Abigail Adams, wife of John Adams. "Do not team up with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (Paul at 2 Corinthians 6:14, NIV). "Anyone who gets so progressive in his thinking that he walks out on the teaching of Christ, walks out on God. But whoever stays with the teaching [the whole counsel of God], stays faithful to both the Father and the Son. If anyone shows up who doesn't hold to this teaching, don't invite him in and give him the run of the place. That would just give him a platform to perpetuate his evil ways, making you his partner" (2 John 1:9 - 11, The Message by Dr. Eugene Peterson). "But prove yourselves doers of the Word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves" (James 1:22, NASB). "But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don't work them into your life, you are like a foolish carpenter who built his house on the sandy beach. When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a house of cards" (Matthew 7:26 - 27, Dr. Peterson's The Message). Treason: US Constitution, Article XIV, Section 3: "No person shall be a Senator or Representative of Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability." America's Founding Fathers Believed Differently: "The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and war, proceed from their despising and neglecting the precepts found in the Bible" -- Noah Webster, Revolutionary War veteran and author of Webster's Dictionary. __________________ __________________ Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the year 2000 Presidential election:
