The Healing Voice of Ruth Greene

"The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.- Isaiah 41:17,18"

Ruth doesn’t believe in compromising the Word or Spirit of God.  In a world full of compromise and perversity, she champions the standard of God wherever she travels.  Because of her tough stand for the things of God, she cuts off and denounces many things that are appealing to the world.  For instance, she owns and operates her own recording label and promotional company because the world, even Christianity itself, easily compromises God while following the flesh and its desires.  No manmade rule is greater than the rule of God.  Ruth’s uncompromising stand has kept her out of the mainstream of the usually dishonest “recording industry” and her stand for God has separated her ministry from many “of religion and legalism” that insist on mixing the mindset of the world with the unpolluted standards of Christianity and faith in God through Jesus Christ.

Ruth has a magnetic, charismatic, yet tough, personality. Because of her ministry call, Ruth is truly magnetic. This also means that she does not fit within the typical definition of popularity or appeal. Like the poles of a magnet, if you stand for God, you love what she stands for and does. However, if you stand for what you want in an effort to downplay things of God, you will likely come under conviction in your heart because of Ruth’s witness and may find your flesh resisting the undeniable Word of God that Ruth stands for. It’s not an easy life and like Elijah of old, Ruth often stands alone with God for the Word of God.

Remember that all Christians were admonished by Jesus in Matthew 10:33 - 39:  “Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will confess him before My Father who is in Heaven. But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in Heaven.  Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  And a man's foes shall be those of his own household.  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake shall find it." Christians will not always have peace with others that have been in their lives in the past because of their stand for God.   Jesus said these things himself.  What we saying is this, it isn’t about who loves you on this earth, but obedience to the commands of God while we grace this earth and to tell others about God’s great love.  Our Heavenly Father prefers obedience to sacrifice. “For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ; and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.   (2 Corinthians 10:4 - 6)
