"When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a singer. Mahalia Jackson was my hero. However, before 1982, I could do nothing more than make a 'joyful noise'. That was literally true. I would be at the front of the church and throw off the praise service because I was loud. My heart was to sing praise to God before the nations and I prayed about this. Unknown to me at the time, my minister and his wife prayed for me in the same way. Through this unique agreement in prayer and the earnest desire of my heart, God honored my prayer by answering it, turning my life as a psalmist around. In 1986, my appointment became clear while singing during the funeral service of my son, Jon. God called me to minister in song at every opportunity. For the rest of my life, I will sing praises and lift up Jesus to the world. I live to sing and sing to live for the Lord. God can turn your life around and give you the desires of your heart to. Believe it."
