Radical - 

  1. Arising from or going to a root or source; basic: proposed a radical solution to the problem.
  2. Departing markedly from the usual or customary; extreme: radical opinions on education.
  3. Favoring or effecting fundamental or revolutionary changes in current practices, conditions, or institutions: radical political views.
  4. Linguistics. Of or being a root: a radical form.
  5. Botany. Arising from the root or its crown: radical leaves.
  6. Slang. Excellent; wonderful.
 Love -

 To have a feeling of love for; to regard with affection or good will; as, to love one's children and friends; to love one's country; to love one's God.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. --Matt. xxii. 37.

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self. --Matt. xxii. 39.

In other words,  it is an extreme, self sacrificing love, that acts to help others.

Jesus coming to earth and dying for our sins was a radical love ministry.  We need to do the same.

We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father".  John 14:12

 

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Mat 9:36-38
