Like some of the characters in the hit TV show LOST, I too believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe there is a reason you are reading this. This is not by mistake or chance. It is your destiny.
Why am I staying up till three in the morning to write this? Probably the same reason some Christians followed Ozzy Osbourne for miles through the desert just to tell him that Jesus loved him. He thought they were complete idiots for doing that, Yet he later sent his kids to a private Christian School. Maybe He saw something right about Christianity. The victims of the Katrina hurricane have been helped by self sacrificing Christians and Christian organizations. Christians are always looked at as dumb until someone needs some genuine help.
I am not trying to say Christians are superhuman beings - No, they are just humans that have been found. The thing I'm trying to get to is that maybe Christians have something real. Why would they go to all the trouble to tell someone about Jesus. Maybe they've found something- they have found someone- His name is Jesus. They have found the truth and have been found themselves. They are now only trying to help others find the truth. If you were plane wrecked on a strange island and you then found the way to be rescued, wouldn't you want to share that way with the other castaways?
If you are not a Christian and have not been found yet, then you are LOST. You are not knowing the meaning of life. The Christian has found it, but it is not an achievement or a state of being. It is a person - Jesus.
Many miss finding Christ and die every day. You may not find Him if you don't want to. You can give up on life or just continue with the status quo, not knowing the Creator of all. It takes faith, you have to take a step of faith to be saved. Just believe in Him, He won't hurt you. Take a step toward Jesus today and be found. If you find out He's not the truth, then turn and go back, back to being LOST.
I write this to the LOST in hope that someone would turn to Jesus Christ and be found. It is only out of love that you search for the LOST. When someone you love is missing you will spend your life to find them. This is what Christ did on the cross, spent His life for you, And that is what He sent his believers to do- to spend their lives on behalf of the LOST.
