We salute our men and women in the armed forces,

I really don't even know where to start here. There is so much I could say on this topic.
The first and foremost is that our prayers are with all our military personnel, and their families. They make this country the United States of America. We use that so freely, without a second thought, Where do you live? The USA. Have you really ever stopped to think where we would be if it wasn't for our strong military? Would we be free? Would they try to make us worship other gods? Would we have to dress in a certain manner? Think about the other countries and their cultures and laws. Could you now live and love life like that? Thanks to our military, under the guidance of God, we don't have to!! We are the land of the brave and the home of the free !!
These people are our families, our neighbors, our friends, our co-workers, our loved ones. They lay down their lives for you and me. Yes, I salute them, I pray for them, I have respect for them, both active duty, veterans, and those who lost their lives for our country, FOR US. They are the future both for us, and our offspring !!
May God continue to bless this country, and protect our military.

OUR FALLEN HERO'S
For those of you who may or may not know, there is a web site that proclaims to be Christian, and is condemning all military persons to "hell" . They take great pleasure in going to the funerals of our fallen and creating the most horrible scenes. They have their own disgusting obits for these men and women, and even list how many days that our fallen have been in "hell". Don't just take my word for it, visit their web site, you will leave there in tears as I did: http://www.godhatesfags.com/main/ .
This site is direct hatred towards gays, and our military. What is really sad is the fact that this is not the opinion of a person without Christian attitude or principles, this is Rev. Fred Phelps the pastor of the Westboro Baptist church.
What happened to the command of LOVE preached by JESUS himself?
But on the brighter side, we have the "patriot guard" group that loves and fights for our country and our military. They go to these funerals that have been targeted and distract from the outbursts and protesting of this so called "religious group" that is creating a nightmare for the families. Of course this is done in a non-violent manor.
