This seminar is part of our history now. It was well attended and I can only thank the Lord Jesus for all the results in the future as a benefit of all who attended.

The seminar was in the Power Box building to the South side of church on Michigan Ave.
Beth Ziarnik from Oshkosh, WI. taught the seminar's four workshops:
"Is God Calling You to Write?"
"Writing Successful Devotionals---Part 1: What Is a Devotional?"
(identifying parts and types)
Noon Break with lunch provided by the helpful Lighthouse members.
"Writing Successful Devotionals---Part 2: Let's Do It!"
(planning and writing a devotional manuscript)
"Marketing Devotional Manuscripts---Part 3: Target Your Markets"
(successful submission techniques)
Beth Ann Ziarnik is the author of numerous devotional pieces published in anthologies, a quarterly Christian magazine, and her popular column, Love With Shoes On. The column is now in its tenth year and appears monthly in Together In Faith.
Wife, mother and grandmother, Beth lives in Oshkosh WI. She is a long-time member of New Life Community Church, leader of the Tuesday morning women's Bible study, and member of the prayer ministry.
I thank our 27 attendees who heard Beth as she detailed how to write and market devotional manuscripts to a hungry marketplace.
