There
are 176 instances in the Bible of the word blessed, or a total of 324
times the word bârak, berâkâh, and eulogeō (derivatives) are used
to denote the act of highly favored or fortuned. But do we know what it
means, let alone that it pleases God to bless us and thereby glorifying
His name? This is not a board to teach you definitions, but a web page
to alert you that God took the initiative to mention this word so often
in the Bible, perhaps just to catch your attention. Sign the book as
you state the blessing that you would live to see God perform for you.

Psa
112:1 Hallelujah! Blessed is the person who fears the LORD and is happy
to obey his commands. Psa 112:2 His descendants will grow strong on the
earth. The family of a decent person will be blessed. Psa 112:3 Wealth
and riches will be in his home. His righteousness continues forever.
Psa 112:4 Light will shine in the dark for a decent person. He is
merciful, compassionate, and fair. Psa 112:5 All goes well for the
person who is generous and lends willingly. He earns an honest living.
Psa 112:6 He will never fail. A righteous person will always be
remembered. Psa 112:7 He is not afraid of bad news. His heart remains
secure, full of confidence in the LORD. Psa 112:8 His heart is steady,
and he is not afraid. In the end he will look triumphantly at his
enemies. Psa 112:9 He gives freely to poor people. His righteousness
continues forever. His head is raised in honor. Psa 112:10 The wicked
person sees this and becomes angry. He angrily grits his teeth and
disappears. The hope that wicked people have will vanish.
