I am Michael Pipes, and I play the guitar for U4EA. (I love the tones found on Fender Stratocasters!) My professional career began after college with the Bodacious Band, a very successful midwest regional act. But at age 36, I found myself alone, failing at my job, and not knowing how to make ends meet. I had many spiritual questions in my mind, some about the very existence of God. A co-worker asked about my spiritual life when I shared my woes with him. I told him I had many questions including: "What does it mean to be saved?" He went through a plan of salvation and gave me a small tract with the gospel and sinner's prayer on it. I went home that night and asked Christ into my heart to save me. My life has never been the same! There are still the down moments but now I do not face them alone.
My Favorite Scripture is Psalm 150 -
"Praise the LORD!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!" (NASB)
