Is Craig Watson a slam-dunk singer/writer/musician? If he were a basketball player he would not "make" baskets, he would dive through the hoop with the ball!
This is the passion level reflected in his music.
His career began at the top, in a highly-energized Las Vegas show Group called Cyclone. After nine years of playing Las Vegas shows and touring with other top rated musical groups - a dramatic change took place in his life: his conversion to Jesus Christ. A graveyard, of all places, is where Craig Watson first heard God's voice. In his own words: "...And then I walked out of the funeral tent...and just immediately hit my knees, right on the ground, and gave my life to the Lord, just like that. I said, You did it. I'm yours. Forever. Right now." Knowing he had a different calling, he gave up music completely for eight months, and invited God to give him a new direction for his life. He said God put it to him this way: "Your talent has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with me." After his eight month "purge" he knew it was time to get back into music. He started a band called U4EA (pronounced Euphoria). Why U4EA? He said: "I was thinking about how we feel when we're playing for Jesus...because of the euphoric feeling we have of joy and exuberance when we're dealing with Him. And I thought Euphoria...U4EA - Yea, that's it!" Craig meticulously built the group. They play his contemporary songs, and he is lead singer.
U4EA - Is it a strong unit? They reflect the same passion of Watson's slam-dunk style in a unique blend of rock, funk, alternative, and worship. The listener experiences this euphoric passion when he hears a whole heap of crowd-wowing original Watson material. U4EA's vision is scripturally based and they use music to challenge each person's walk with God. To hear Craig Watson & U4EA in concert is to truly see a band devoted to, and living for Jesus Christ. U4EA consists of Craig Watson (lead singer, guitar, keys), Roger Fouch (drums), Greg Wallace (percussion), Don Donner (bass), and Mike Pipes (guitars).
