"You HAVE! Power Over satan!"
"Every Christian has an enemy. Although unseen by the natural eye, this adversary is not imaginary nor a mythological character. satan, the devil,{I refuse to capitalize his name} is a real person. a spirit being, with intelligence, tangible characteristics, and whose incessant goal and ambition is to “steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10).
Around the clock the enemy is on the prowl, seeking to cause mayhem and destruction to all believers and the work of Jesus Christ throughout the world. With military-like strategy and ruthless hostility, the devil aggressively searches for weakness in our faith and spiritual life, hoping to devour us with deception, temptation, or oppression, repression and depression. He is the personification of all that is evil and is the author of every despicable work.
Regardless of whether you realize it, satan has targeted you as a victim.{Especially if you are a christian} He knows your name and address, your strengths and weaknesses. Somewhere in the shadows, he and his forces lurk, waiting, planning for the moment they will strike ... then when you’re caught off-guard ... as he desperately hopes that you will be, as many Christians, {believe it or not} remain ignorant of his reality so that you’ll blame his assaults on somebody or something else.
His method of operation is almost always “undercover.” Subtly, he manipulates ... hindering circumstances and inspires evil thoughts or temptations, disguising his activities behind the shroud of people or things or situations. He will always seek to divert attention and blame for his actions upon others. But make no mistake, he is the real enemy, not your husband, wife, employer, government or Christian brethren!" For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
satan has no Rightful Authority over Believers!
The Good News is that, although the devil is described “like” a “roaring lion,” in reality he has no actual authority over believers. he is not really a lion, but roars “like” a lion would do to bluff his victims into fear and intimidation. satan is a liar and deceiver and uses deception as his weapon to gain advantage over those who are ignorant of the limitations of his power.
When Jesus gave his life on the cross as the Sacrifice for the sins of the world, He also Redeemed us from satan’s power and dominion over us. “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Col. 2:15). “.For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Praise God! satan is already a defeated enemy! His legal authority was neutralized by the Precious Blood and Finished work of Christ on the cross.
Every Believer has Authority over satan!
So if satan is already defeated, why then is he still able to cause trouble? Because, even though Christ broke satan’s legal power, the Lord has left it up to Us to “enforce” the devil’s defeated condition. It's our responsibility to use the Authority that Christ has given us to put satan in his place.
As a believer, you need not fear satan, but realize and exercise the authority which God has given you over the devil. Every person whose name has been recorded in the “Lamb’s Book of Life” (all those who are saved) have been given Authority over the power of the devil. “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
You have the right to use the Authority of the name of Jesus to repel and drive satan out of your territory and to break his grip over spiritual strongholds in your life and in the life of others (2 Cor. 10:4). When you recognize satan’s activity and covert operations, take Authority over him in the name of 'Jesus' Just as Jesus and the early Apostles did, command satan to leave (Mark 16:17).
The devil hates the name of Jesus and detests an atmosphere of Praise and Worship which Exalts the name of Jesus. Christ the Lord said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matt. 18:20). Be assured, the presence of Christ will expel the presence of satan. Lifting up Jesus in Praise will send the devil running!
Slam the Door in the devils face!
The name of Jesus will drive satan away. But it would be futile to order satan’s departure if we leave the door wide open for him to flourish. The Bible tells us to not “give place” for the devil (Eph. 4:27). That is, provide no area of your life where satan can be comfortable or establish strongholds.
The enemy can always be found working in those who entertain sin, disobedience, rebellion or a self-willed nature. Unforgiveness toward others is another area which satan flourishes (2 Cor. 2:11). Furthermore, any area of your life which is not submitted to God is considered open territory to the devil, and he has the right to bring his expanding influence to those areas.
This is why the scripture says, “.Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). The only way to actually resist satan is to Submit yourself Fully to God. This was what Jesus was referring to when He said, “.the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me” (John 14:30). Jesus had submitted himself to God, and although the devil would try Him, there was nothing for the devil to use to gain an advantage.
Rejoice Christian! God is in you, and You have been given Power over the devil! By submitting to God, and exercising your Authority in the name of Jesus, you are more Powerful than the enemy. “.He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
For the time will come when men (WHO ARE ... NOT! of God, but masquerading as men and women of God!) will not put up with SOUND DOCTRINE(The Very Word of God, which can and is to be tested, by JESUS' own Admonition) Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
2.Timothy.4:3-5.
As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about All things and as that anointing is real, Not Counterfeit ... just as It has taught you, remain in Him.
1.John.2:27.
The coming of the LAWLESS one (who is not satan) will be in accordance with the work of satan displayed in all kinds of Counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing, for the devil imitates that which is real (True Godly Miracles, Signs and Wonders and the things of God and ALL things are Come from God ... its how wee choose by freewill to use them.) Please do not get confused here, for the devil himself is the prince of confusion ... but if you BELIEVE only because of the works, signs and miracles then it is 'Not' *Born out of Love for Christ* but worldliness and wantonness' O Unbelieving and Perverse Generation, " Jesus replied," How long shall I stay with you? How long shall I PUT UP WITH YOU?" ... Matthew.17:17. I emphasise the latter part of the Lords obvious Rebuke. They the deciever and those sadly decieved perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. God is Love! and The Truth sets you Free. For this reason God sends them a Powerful DELUSION so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (The wickedness being the worldly lie and mans wanton way, things JESUS did NOT Advocate. And He Is the Great Advocator.)
2. Thessalonians.2:9-12.
'So Please brothers and sisters in the Lord don't ever forget, or ever despair, and Always remember in Faithful Hope, that each of our Prayers are stored in Gods Loving heart, and No prayer is Ever Forgotten by Him and if you 'Seek Him in Spirit and in Truth you Shall Find Him, for Jesus told us so and the Lord does not lie nor bamboozle us with myths legends and false doctrine. He and He alone is the Way the Truth and the Life. Come to Him all you who are heavy laden and He will lighten your load. He will not Forsake or Abandon you, nor will He lead you down the road that leads to hell and damnation, but on the road to Life and Life more Abundant. For He is the Life and He is the Truth and the Truth 'Will Set you Free ... a simple test and Jesus said His Word 'Could be Tested' is "If it isn't in the Word pay No Heed to it ... for there are those who preach what they choose to for their own ends and not Gods ends ... as for them they shall be doubly judged, as Jesus warned us, they will travel over sea and over land to convert just one convert and make them twice the son of hell he is by bad teaching brought on by pride and all kinds of un-godly reasons, all of them surely dressed in the vestiges of the angel of light when infact they are angels of darkness deceiving ... EVEN! the Elect!!!!!!! ... this is a stark and obvious warning to ALL who SEEK CHRIST ... if that were possible. Is the conclusion to that piece of scripture. So it is a very stark warning Indeed. But Fear not those of you in Christ, for Jesus Himself prayed for All True believers After He had prayed for Himself and His Apostles and Disciples in John.17:20-26. Imagine 'Jesus Christ Son of the Living Holy God Himself prayed for you personally, so how can you not Rejoice if you Be in Christ as He is in you. But by Jesus' Admonition to All of Us 'TEST THOSE WHO SAY THEY COME IN THE NAME OF THE LORD AND DO NOT FEAR THOSE WHO WOULD ADMONISH YOU NOT TO DO SO' If you are Truely Seeking you shall/will surely FIND HIM for He Promised this to All who Seek Him in Spirit and In Truth and Jesus' Promises are Eternal. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Date:30th April 2003 ... a day I don't want to forget.
Have you ever wanted to give 'Jesus' something that you have never given to anyone else ... and I mean anyone else? Something real Special! Something that only you can give to Him. Too deep for mere words.
Well I do and for years now I have wanted to do something just for HIM.
And finally today in a crystal clear moment of reflection I suddenly realized I have done so already, 'For I have Given Him my heart, the good, the bad and the ugly 'ME' Completely, my All, my Everything and I know in my heart that it is Only I who can Give my Lord this One thing. For I am the Only one who can give Him 'ME'
Have you ever wanted to give Him something Only you can 'Give' to Jesus ... Only YOU! Well then ... what are you waiting for? ... for Only YOU can give it. Give Him YOU ... NOW! ... the sin, the shame, the pain all the ugliness, warts anall without all the hassle and hangups of cold legalistic religion, doctrine and dogma. Impossible Burdens and Confusions too heavy to bear in the natural. Jesus told us Himself to ... "Come to ME All you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest" Matt.11:28.
Praise God the Father for He JESUS is waiting ... and O so willing to Recieve you. Glory Halleluljah!!!!!!! ... but only YOU can give HIM you.
What Wonder. What Revelation to know that there really is Only One thing that you can give to Jesus ... you are unique and He is waiting ... the tears may flow but the Rejoicing will grow and glow in you as you come to know the 'Lover of your soul' 'Looser of your chains' your 'Redeemer' and 'Saviour' and Free you into the Enfolding Love that IS God, for GOD is LOVE. Love Divine.
Thankyou Jesus ... Thankyou Lord for Loving me who gave himself to you just as I was then and am now. Praise, Glory and Honour to Your Holy name. Amen and Amen!

I thank you, Lord, for every thorn,
Each heavy burden I have born.
The darkest moments of despair,
And every cross I've had to bear.
I'm glad I've suffered grief and pain,
Those seasons of distress and strain,
That stunned my pride and humbled me,
And turned my stubborn heart to Thee.
And thank You Lord, for every tear,
I've shed for those I hold so dear.
For 'tho I trusted you before,
Each crisis made me love you more.
For as the sorrows came and went,
They left me tired, weak, and spent.
With all my hope and courage gone,
I could not make it on my own.
'Twas then my prayers were most sincere,

A stronger, deeper faith emerged.

God just has to have a Wonderful sense of Humour along with All that Love He has for us All ... SO PLEASE, NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!!!!
Remember my friends the church, the 'Body of Christ' is not just a building, a denomination, a set of rules, doctrines and dogmas. It is the SOULS who have given themselves to Jesus in True Repentence with broken and contrite heart and spirit ... and Jesus lives in them. Indwells you!
Fellowshipping, Worshipping and getting together to share and know the Love of God is Wonderful and places as such are 'Filled with Gods Love and Presence. Halleluljah! But the 'BODY' the True church is the People who have given themselves to God through Jesus Christ the Saviour and Redeemer of our souls. The Lover of our souls. So Rejoice and Be Glad. Amen and Amen.
As you Come to Him, the Living Stone ... rejected by men but chosen by God and Precious to Him ... you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a Holy Priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

<>< THE BARBER SHOP ><>
The Bible says that we should have an answer for why you believe, to those who ask you. This is a good example of an answer to one of the most common reasons sinners give for ignoring God and His Goodness.
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God. The barber said: "Look here man, I just don't believe that God exists as you say He does."
"Ofcourse you've got your oppinions" the client shrugged, a submissive act, not wanting to offend the barber "but Why! do you say that?" asked the client.
"Well, that's just so easy to answer" the barber smiled wryly "I mean you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. I mean, go on tell me, if God really existed, would there be so many sick people around? Would there be so many abandoned children around? No!" he answered his own question firmly and continued right on "For One thing IF God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain nor all this hellish misery around for one thing. I can't think of loving a God who permits all these things to go on." he affirmed adamantly.
The client stopped for a moment, thinking, but he didn't want to respond so as to cause an argument, he well understood the mans intensity for there was much misery around ... that was for sure!
The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop with no further words spoken between them.
Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with long hair and a long, wild unkempt beard it seems that it had been a long time since this poor soul had had his hair cut by such a fine barber as he had just had the pleasure of being serviced by, and the man he just looked so untidy, indeed he looked a real mess and there was just No denying that. It was as plain as the nose on your face.
Something deep in the client moved and he just had to go back to that barber shop, so off he went and again entered the barber shop and straight off he blurted out to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the barber. "I am a barber and here I am."
"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist ... because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beards that needed a severe cuttin' like that man who walks in the street out yonder." he said pointing through the barber shop window toward the street where the unkempt long bearded man stood, clearly by his appearance standing out amongst the passers by. For his mangy beard was a sight to behold.
"Ahhh!" the barber grimaced "barbers do exist, what happens is that some people just do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the client. "That's the point." he said determind the barber got his point "God does exist, what happens is people just don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
The barber looked more bemused and perplexed than he had one moment before and scratched his well coiffured hair. Maybe this persistent stranger had a point afterall.
Thanks brother Amos for this word and you can be sure we are praying for your safety as you travel to Tunisia doing the Work of a Harvester in the Mission Field. God Go with you our dear brother and May the Lords Protective hand hover over your every step. Amen and Amen!
