Life's Journey
When the cords of affliction
Have you tied up in knots
When the trials of this world
Make you question your lot
Remember, life is a journey
That we all must pass through
But Jesus will guide you...
For He passed this way too.
I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except
through me.

~God Knows Best~
God's never at a loss
He knows just what to do.
He's several steps ahead
of folks like me and you.
He had this week in place,
before He flung the stars in space.
This very day was on His mind,
before the world had seen mankind.
He even knew your heart well,
when the world was still.
And long before your birth,
you had a purpose on this earth.
He's way ahead of me and you,
and He knows what you are going through.
And though He puts us to the test,
truly, God knows best!

Faith Moves God... Without Faith it is impossible to please Him.
Heb.11:6.
"Because he loves Me" says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My Salvation."
Psalm.91:14-16.
No weapon formed against thee shall prosper. Isa 54:17.
Strength is made perfect in weakness. 2. Cor. 12:9.
The battle is not yours; but Gods. 2. Chr. 20:15.
Come, let's sing Joyfully to the LORD. Let's shout Happily to the Rock of our Salvation. Let's come into His presence with a song of Thanksgiving. Let's shout Happily to Him with Psalms.
Psalm.95:1-2.
May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans.15:13.
~Thorns in our Lives~
...When Paul was speaking in Corinth about the thorn in his flesh he said:...2.Cor.12:8-10. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
The Lord is with you in your weakness; He is there with you, even when it doesn't feel like it. Remember Isaiah speaking Wisdom to those around him...
Isaiah.40:28-29. 'Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.'
Today many have weaknesses in the mind, depression, low self esteem, brokenness, fears and phobias, thorns and tormenting spirits forever tormenting them, remember how Jezebel spoke against Elijah and Elijah was definitely no pushover...
1.Kings.19:1-2. Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them."
Is this the same Mighty Prophet of God?...
1.Kings.19:3-4. Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, Lord," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors."
This is the same, very same Elijah, the one who proved the Lord is God and made the people shout and confess the Lord He is God...The Lord He is God, so even Elijah had his weak moments, even though God had used him to do Mighty works and miracles...
1.Kings.18:38-39. Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The Lord He is God! The Lord He is God!"
Now suddenly this great Elijah has developed weakness in his mind, such a great Prophet as he and yet in his fear and weakness he is helpless until the Lord God comes to his aid:...
1.Kings.19:7-8. The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you." So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he travelled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, don't accept the fear and get the weakness satan instills in your mind in those weak tired moments, as did Elijah on hearing the words of Jezebel, it can happen to any of us at any time...remember satan is a liar. She Jezebel; belonged to her father, the father of lies, satan, beelzebub, lord of flies,(tormenting flies) the devil, the head of all tormenting spirits himself... As John explains in his gospel...
John.8:44. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
We should never forget who our Father is...The Lord God Amighty Himself: 'Abba Father' The Only God for there is and has never been any other God but God. We have to always remember this; never for a moment are we to forget it, for it is from God we receive Power to Overpower satan, through Christ Jesus Our Lord and Saviour, as Paul relates in Rome from a prison cell...
1.Cor.2:4-5. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power...
and again he reminds us several times...
Romans.15:13. May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace as you Trust in Him, so that you may overflow with Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit...Romans.8:24-26. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express...2.Corinthians.4:16-18. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal....
So we say with confidence in agreement with Jude, Jesus' step brother...
Jude.1:24-25. 'To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His Glorious presence without fault and with great Joy... to the Only God Our Saviour be Glory, Majesty, Power and Authority, through Jesus Christ Our Lord, before all ages, now and forever more! Amen.'
Jesus told us that in this world we will have troubles, but that we are not to despair because He has overcome this world...i.e.and the prince of this world is the devil. Nevertheless in our troubles we often find despair, and in despair condemnation, some of satans most formidable weapons, which he never hesitates to use against us. It doesn't matter who we are or how strong our faith may or may not be...it happens to us all at some time or another; in some way or another.
Prayer at these times does not come easily, Praise even less so, and we find ourselves like flotsom in a rough sea getting so tossed about we just don't know where we are, and we become cold, despondent and confused, unable to think clearly or cope with our situation and so we drift away from reading the Word, Prayer and Fellowshipping...we even begin to wonder if we ever did believe in the first place.. and so begins the backsliding.
Yet Jesus doesn't despair of us, doesn't leave us, doesn't abandon us...nomatter how angry or resentful we have become towards Him. However much we deny Him, even speaking against Him, even mocking Him. Still, He remains Faithful.
We are on a slippery slide and the devil is having all the victories, or so it seems. We are in the pit; out in the wilderness refusing to use the compass. Gods Word. Faith. (no matter how small it may seem) Persistance and ofcourse Prayer, and so we wander aimlessly around not knowing which way to turn and continually in a state of confusion.
It's a terrible place to be and none of us want to be there, yet God remains Faithful and satan continues to stick the boot in.
Why does God allow this? Have you ever caught yourself asking yourself that question? I have on more than one occassion!!!!
Is it to make us stronger?
Is it because He the Lord is a sadist? Certainly not!
Or is it because we depend on our own abilities, faith in what we can do and not entirely on what God can do?
Or simply impatience? 'I want it now and if I don't get it now I'll just give up and make the best of a bad deal. Just giving up. That sounds more like it, well sadly, in my case it has in the past, and at times, if I am not alert to it, it can easily creep up on me like a thief in the night. I won't make any excuses for it, although there are many that we can and do make ... but our Only excuse died on a cross on Calvary Hill 2000 years ago. 'Jesus Christ is our Only Excuse' He is our only Redeemer. Praise His Holy name. Halleluljah!!!!!!!
The Lord tells us that in our weakness He is our strength.
Many of us have found this to be a FACT, Thank God, usually after the events we are talking about, but nevertheless had to go through before we actually accepted it as Truth. Licking flames of torment.
Painful stuff is the refining fires. Yet difficult to forget if we are so foolish as to not remember 'That if it wasn't for the Grace of God all that pain, hurt and suffering would have been for nothing'... but NOW we know that All things Work for the Good to those in Christ Jesus and that in our weakness He actually is our strength, but ofcourse that is always afterwards.
After the trials, after the hurts, after the despair.
So don't be surprised if as a christian you find suffering...but Always be aware of How Faithful our Great Great God is. How Wonderful our Saviour is.
Nothing, Absolutely Nothing is impossible for our God... and if you don't believe me, next time He allows you to go through the fires and see the victory on the other side and How much Stronger you are because of them YOU WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD.
Infact sit down right now and remember back to all the trials and hurts He has seen you through already.
AND PRAISE HIM. HALLELULJAH!
When Satan comes against you
He may knock you down
But he can't knock you out
He can only knock you down to your knees
Into the gentle arms of Jesus
Who gently leads you to the banqueting table
While saying to you... Come and be refreshed
At the banqueting table which is
The Promised Land in the midst of your enemies
For prepared for such a time as this
Are bowls of love, platters of forgiveness
Cups of mercy and communion of fellowship with Me
Your Lord and Savior
For I long to spend intimate time with you
Here is a worthy thought: 'If you wake up in the morning and everything is just going fine and dandy and satan don't seem to be bothering you any ... get a little bit wary! ... lest you're treading the same path he is! Don't ever forget who the enemy is! 'Remember he is like a roaring lion always on the prowl to see who he can devour.' It's a battle. Spiritual warfare. So stick close to Jesus and know the victory is already won. He the Lord completed it at the cross for you and for me. So Rejoice fellow christians. Rejoice! Halleluljah!!!!!!!

"Our God Is A God Full Of Compassion, Mercy And Forgiveness"
'GOD IS NOT WILLING THAT ONE SHOULD BE LOST'
This short story reminds me of this fact of how our Faithful Loving God is not willing for anyone, nomatter who or what they have been in life, to be lost to Him for Eternity, not without a chance or even a loving warning, and I often ponder if we are as concerned as He was when He gave His Only Begotten Son so that All may know the Way. "Even for a friend say let alone an enemy?" ...
A man and his dog were absently strolling along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly dawned on him like a bolt of lightening that he was dead.
He suddenly remembered the very act of dying, and that the dog he now walked beside was a faithful old companion who'd been dead for years before his own death had occurred.
Amazed and still a bit bewildered he wondered where this road they were on was leading them.
After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine white marble.
At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother of pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold.
He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as they got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out,
"Excuse me, where are we?"
"This is Heaven, sir," the man answered.
"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?"
the man asked.
"Of course, sir.
Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up."
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
"Can my friend," he continued gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets here."
The man thought for a moment and then turned back toward the road he had been walking and continued along the way he had been going in the first place.
After another long hike, and at the top of another long steep hill, he came to a small dirt road which led through a farm gate that looked as if it had never ever been closed.
There was no fence of any kind.
As he approached the open gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a shady tree and reading a book.
"Excuse me friend!" he called to the reader.
"Do you have any water you could give us?"
"Yeah, sure, there's a pump just over there" The man pointed to a place that couldn't be seen
from outside the gate.
"Come on in." he said in a friendly tone.
"How about my friend here?" the weary traveler gestured towards the dog, his long lost companion.
"There should be a bowl by the pump." came an answer.
They went through the gate, and sure enough,
there was an old fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it just as the man had told him.
The traveler filled the bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to his friend the dog.
When they were both full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree waiting for them.
"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.
"This is Heaven," came the answer.
"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said.
"The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."
"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates?
Nope! That's Hell."
"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"
"No. I can see how you might think so, but we're just happy that they screen out the folks who'll leave their best friends behind just as long as they get what they want." The man went in Joyfully his long lost companion also happy, obvious by the active wagging of his tail.
Both knew they were home.
"Wherefore hear the Word of the Lord, you scornful men that rule this people which is in Jerusalem."
Isaiah.28:14.

~SOMEBODY BIGGER THAN YOU AND I~
Who made the mountains,
who made the trees
Who made the rivers flow to the sea
And who sends the rain when the earth is dry
Somebody bigger than you and I
Who made the flowers to bloom in the spring
Who made the song for the robins to sing
And who hung the moon and the stars in the
sky
Somebody bigger than you and I
He lights the way when the road is long
He keeps you company
And with His love to guide you
He walks beside you
Just like He walks with me
When we're filled with despair
Who gives me courgage to go from there
And who gives me faith that will never die
Somebody bigger than you and I.
Every Scripture passage is inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people, and training them for a life that has God's approval. They equip God's servants so that they are completely prepared to do good things.

***Everlasting Salvation for Zion***
"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
and who seek the LORD :
Look to the rock from which you were cut
and to the quarry from which you were hewn;
look to Abraham, your father,
and to Sarah, who gave you birth.
When I called him he was but one,
and I blessed him and made him many.
The LORD will surely comfort Zion
and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
he will make her deserts like Eden,
her wastelands like the garden of the LORD .
Joy and gladness will be found in her,
thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
"Listen to me, my people;
hear me, my nation:
The law will go out from me;
my justice will become a light to the nations.
My righteousness draws near speedily,
my salvation is on the way,
and my arm will bring justice to the nations.
The islands will look to me
and wait in hope for my arm.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
look at the earth beneath;
the heavens will vanish like smoke,
the earth will wear out like a garment
and its inhabitants die like flies.
But my salvation will last forever,
my righteousness will never fail.
Isaiah.51:1-6.
