Sister and Reverend McGirt
Rev. McGirt is the Undershepherd at Second Baptist. He provides overall leadership for the church. He is also the leader for the Men's Ministry.
Sister McGirt serves as Second Baptist's Administrative Assistant and is the leader of the Women's Ministry.
The McGirts celebrated their First Anniversary with Second Baptist in 2006.

Minister Bristow
In addition to serving as a Deacon, Min. Bristow serves in the pulpit as well as serving as lead Sunday School instructor.

The Deacon's Ministry provides personal support to church members; they are on-call for the needs of the sick, bereaved, and to provide guidance under the direction of Rev. McGirt to the Body. Deaconess Bristow is the Youth Ministry leader and teaches Youth Sunday School classes.

The Trustee Ministry serves the financial and physical needs of the church.

The Sound Ministry provides for the audio/visual needs of the church; technicians ensure that services are recorded and available.

The Kitchen Ministry prepares meals for church breakfasts, Sunday luncheons between services, and for any other church events.

The purpose of the Usher's Ministry is to provide direction into and through the sanctuary during services and other church events.

Second Baptist Missionaries answer the call of those in need; they visit the sick and shut in as well as ensure that the leadership is aware of illnesses within the Body.

The Music Ministry consists of the church choirs and our lead musician. This Ministry works closely with the Sound Ministry.

Hospitality Ministry Sis. Carmen Moore (Chairperson)
The Hospitality Ministry operates throughout the month, but is especially active on the second and fourth Sundays immediately after Sunday School. This Ministry provides a time of fellowship for all members and visitors. Sis. Moore provides a newsletter in addition to healthy refreshments prior to the regular morning service on the Sundays the Ministry serves.
